Chester Zoo really is a wedding destination like no other!
Quirky, unique, distinctive, unconventional, you can debate the best term to describe a Chester Zoo wedding. Still, there is no debate about just how beautiful it is!
Started in 1930 by George Mottershead as a place to keep his growing animal collection, Chester Zoo has grown to become one of the largest in the UK, covering 130 acres. The Oakfield, originally the family's home, lies at the heart of the zoo and has been beautifully restored with intricate wood panelling, historical photos and views out onto the gardens.
Few wedding venues offer the opportunity to celebrate your wedding in such stunning surroundings and have your wedding photos with some of the world's most endangered wildlife.
