Lucy and Phil chose to get married at Lancashire Manor due to its natural charm and character, expertly blended with modern elegance. Lucy and Phils' is a modern love story. They both swiped right on Tinder before meeting for the first time in the city of Liverpool.
We ask Lucy and Phil to share their wedding story below,
Who proposed to who?
Phil proposed on Christmas Day at his mum's house. Phil asked his stepdad to be his best man and his best friend Ryan to be his grooms man. My maid of honour is Lauren who I met through work and instantly become a best friend and Sophie and Jess (bridesmaid) I’ve known since college for nearly 10 years

Did you have a video?
Yes, our video was by Lauren Simpkin Films. Lauren, is a creative, documentary wedding film-maker with experience working for ITV and The BBC. Lauren describes her film style as "Short Form". Resulting in a highly edited, cinematic film, combining all of the most important parts of your day focused on highlighting and capturing all the sincere emotions; The vows, the laughter, the smiles, tears of happiness, canapés, dad jokes, dancing, cake eating, and champagne drinking.
What drew you to Lancashire Manor Hotel?
It felt natural and old-fashioned, filled with character but simultaneously modern and elegant. On the morning my hair was by Gemma Ritchie and my makeup Eilish Boardman

What was your colour and theme at The Lancashire Manor Hotel?
We wanted nature as much as we could, but a dash of pink was just what it needed! White, sage and dusty pink. We followed the theme through to our flowers, which were supplied by scented rose

What drew you to your suits and dress?
I instantly fell in love with the dress from Natalie Ann Brides. It was not what I originally wanted, but with all the sparkle, I felt I honoured my glamorous mum by choosing it.

Phil said the suits were chosen because he was told he had to have a grey suit and pink tie 🤣

What was the most memorable moment from your day?
Far too many to count! But Phil says me and Ella walking down the aisle!

If pushed to choose one or two, I'd say when Lauren did my mum's speech and I found her empty chair at the front.

What was your favourite moment at Lancashire Manor Hotel?
Dancing with everyone!

What, if anything, would you change?
Nothing!

What advice would you share with a couple planning their wedding?
Have a sweetheart table and enjoy some time to yourselves!
